Coleslaw revisited . . . update

New twist on Tom's Coleslaw recipe:  add some toasted sliced almonds to the mix!

1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/2 tbl. butter

  • Melt butter over medium heat
  • Add the almonds and reduce heat to medium-low
  • Cook the almonds, stirring often until lightly browned 
  • Gently mix into the Coleslaw
We felt like this was such a great addition to Tom's Coleslaw that we needed to blog about it.  Be sure to give it a try next time!
