Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 cup milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch garlic powder
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. sea salt
4 tbl. canola oil
Directions
·
Mix flour, baking powder, pepper & salt in
large bowl using a whisk
·
add milk and stir with fork until the dough
holds together well
·
pinch off about a 2” ball of dough and sprinkle
with flour
·
shape by hand into biscuit patties on a lightly
floured surface
·
heat oil over low-medium heat
·
fry biscuits over low heat about 3 minutes per
side, until lightly brown
·
Remove from heat and serve hot with your
favorite topping
These will rise quite a bit while cooking so sometimes it takes a little longer for them to cook all the way thru. Just be sure not to fry them too hot.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we mix some crumbled bacon or shredded cheddar cheese in with dough and then fry them. Really good!
