Clam Dip with corn chips - yum! |
Ingredients
8 oz. cream cheese, softened (we use the lower fat cream
cheese)
1 tbl. grated onion
1 small clove of garlic, smashed & mashed into a paste
3 to 4 drops of Worcestershire sauce
3 to 4 drops of hot sauce (like Tabasco)
good dash of ground black pepper
5 oz. can of chopped clams, drained (reserve the liquid)
Directions

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, onion, garlic,
Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and black pepper with an electric mixer until
well blended and smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl continuously with
a rubber spatula

Add the liquid from the clams one teaspoon at a
time, until it’s the consistency that you like (maybe 3 to 4 tablespoons max.)

Gently stir in the clams until mixed well
·
Chill for about an hour before serving
